Uni
Uni's been a bit of a workout lately. Unfortunately, in the first few weeks, I was absolutely cruising, and that dropped me into a pattern of continual cruising... and it's only now that the bombshell's hit me - I HAVE WORK. And as much as I usually enjoy group work, it's getting to be a bit of a strain, managing three separate groups and trying to make sure I do my assigned work for all of them. Having the week semi-off this week did not help one itty bitty bit. I'm starting to feel the bite of being that little bit behind, and knowing that I really have to get on with things.
Life
One thing that's taken over my existence recently is Scrubs. I'd watched it a few times on TV, but never really gotten into it because it was either on very very late... or on cable, both things which did not make it particularly watchable. But after having bought one season and watching it in a day, I then proceeded to immediately purchase two and three and watch them over the course of the next three days. And oh, was it GOOD! Must have more...
But anyways, yeah, been gaming a lot. Probably more than I should. Been getting my skills up in CS:S and L4D, chilling with mah in-game homies, just having an all-around good time and remembering that games aren't about stats but about (shock horror) FUN!
Other than that, been playing copious amounts of guitar, getting back into both acoustic and electric, learning new songs, figuring out finger picking and fretboard techniques on my own, big-noting myself to others
All in all... life's about 50-50 right now. We'll see which way the balance tips.
Peace out,
Nath
